The full functionality of these machines lies in the range of available attachments. COUGARS® excavators feature a quick coupling design, allowing you to easily buy or rent attachments and interchange them depending on the job. Additional attachments can be purchased later to increase the functionality of the machine.
Each machine comes fitted with a 400mm bucket. Users can then select optional extra attachments for their specific application.
The Series 15 machines can accommodate a range of buckets in varying sizes.
The ripper attachment is ideal for loosening hard ground and busting through tough tree roots. The hardened steel ripper tip is reinforced with heavy steel plates to ensure it can handle the tough work.
Fit an auger drive to the excavator and it can quickly dig holes for planting trees, digging foundations, and post installation.
Adding a rock breaker attachment allows for large rocks, which would otherwise be too large to be moved, to be broken into manageable pieces. The breaker can also be used for busting up old concrete driveways and footpaths, making them easier to lift, push, and maneuver. The rock breaker utilizes the auxiliary hydraulic connections and attaches via the quick coupling at the hitch.
The grapple is like a 4-in-1 bucket for your excavator, allowing you to grip, lift, roll, and maneuver objects into position. The Grapple attachment is ideal for forestry work, including clearing brush, lifting logs, and branches. Attaching the grapple takes a little more time as it utilizes the excavator's ram to function and therefore needs pins knocked in and out instead of utilizing the quick hitch connection like other attachments.
The rake attachment is handy for moving green waste and piling it for decomposition or burning. It can also be used for clearing problem vegetation such as lantana.
